IMPACT COVID Communication Toolkit

Did you know a recent study that examined COVID-19 vaccine readiness among people with Substance Use Disorder, showed nearly half of the participants reported they were unwilling to take the vaccine?

Substance Use Disorder puts you at a greater risk for COVID-19 complications.

Through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) is supporting WVU CED IMPACT WV project to increase vaccine confidence among those with Substance Use Disorder.

IMPACT WV is working to deliver targeted outreach messaging for individuals with substance use disorder. Please join the campaign to #IMPACTCOVID by downloading and sharing the resources provided below or creating your own messaging and using the hashtag.

Follow us as we work to vaccinate all eligible people with a Substance Use Disorder by the Anniversary of the ADA on July 26th!

The IMPACT COVID Communications Toolkit provides communications and messaging resources to use to build confidence in the COVID-19 vaccine and encourage the communities you serve to get the vaccine and help protect against COVID-19.
