Food Insecurity in West Virginia: The Positive Impact of WIC

This session will educate attendees of the West Virginia WIC Program and how eligible women, infants and children will benefit from participation. Benefits include nutrition counseling and education, breastfeeding support, and monthly, nutritious supplemental foods. Participation in WIC and the WIC food package assist in combating food insecurity and lead to positive health outcomes.
