Motivational Interviewing (MI) is an evidenced-based conversational style that addresses ambivalence to change with individuals. This conversational approach to change helps individuals identify their own unique reasons, methods, and plan for change. Utilization of MI can increase the likelihood of success as well as an individual's willingness and commitment to change.
This training series will introduce participants to the application of MI in supporting behavioral health and health change. This training may be especially relevant to practitioners who coordinate substance use treatment or support individuals by helping facilitate behavior change in their practice.
This training series will include 5 one-hour sessions that will run weekly from July 27, 2021 - August 24, 2021. Please visit the registration page to learn more and register for the series.
