10:00 am - 11:00 am

In order to respond to the increasing trends of suicide in West Virginia, behavioral health providers and systems must be equipped with an understanding of the prevailing theories of suicide and understand the differences in suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention.

This training will help build providers awareness of the major contributing factors to suicide risk and understand effective suicide prevention and crisis response. Participants will be offered skills to support confidence and comfort in discussing suicide with clients and individuals who have lost someone to suicide.
