NAS
Introduction
There are a number of ways for caregivers and providers to help babies while they are being monitored or treated for NAS. The Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) Module will provide information about what to do before baby is born, how to care for babies at risk for NAS, provide advice on feeding, sleeping, and bonding with babies with NAS, along with ways to keep calm when taking baby home.- • Identify terms used with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS).
